Q. What is a clarity enhanced diamond?
A. Every diamond created by Mother Nature has naturally occurring flaws, many of which are tiny, surface feather-like one called inclusions. The process of Clarity Enhancement makes these inclusions invisible to the naked eye, creating a more brilliant diamond. The greater majority of CE diamonds marketed by Hadar are made by mistakes that occur on the cutting wheel.

Q. How does the CE process work?
A. The surface feathers are safely filled and bonded with a transparent, diamond-like material. The optical and refractive characteristics of this material closely resemble that of a natural diamond. When filled, the imperfections become invisible. Hadar clients can purchase a much larger and more brilliant diamond for a fraction of the cost. And, Hadar fillings last forever!

Q. What are the benefits of owning a clarity enhanced diamond?
A. 1. The CE diamond will appear identical to a diamond costing much more. 2. You’ll be wearing a larger and more beautiful diamond that costs less money.

Q. Can you give me some price comparisons?
A. Below are other diamonds of equal cut, color, clarity and carat weight. EX.1ct round brilliant, ideal cut, F color, SI2 clarity CE diamond will cost $2,550 per ct . . . vs. $6,500 per ct. A 2ct princess (square), premium cut, E color, VS2 clarity CE diamond cost $4,800 per ct vs. $8,800 per ct.

Q. Is the Hadar diamond filler permanent?
A. Yes. The diamond filling process is similar to a pebble striking a car windshield. The windshield takes on a feather-like inclusion. A windshield repairman fills this inclusion with a strong bonding material. Just like a Clarity Enhanced Diamond, the windshield is back to it’s original, flawless condition forever.

Q. Are all cuts and sizes available for CE diamonds?
A. All cuts are available. Sizes range from .45ct – 9.0ct

Q. How are these diamonds cut?
A. Hadar CE diamonds are known for their excellent proportions. All shapes are cut for maximum beauty, fire and brilliance. Ideal and premium cut stones are available. The CE process is concluded after the diamond is cut.

Q. How do they compare with medium-heavily included diamonds?
A. Inclusions impede light refraction and the ability of the diamond to sparkle. A Hadar CE stone will look more brilliant than their un-enhanced counterparts. This is because the clarity is improved and the diamond is able to respond to light in a much more favorable manner.

Q. Are Clarity Enhanced Diamonds available with an independent, reputable grading report?
A. Yes. Hadar’s Clarity Enhanced Diamonds are evaluated by two internationally recognized grading labs that employ ultra strict guidelines: the Clarity Enhanced Grading Lab (CEGL) and the European Gemological Laboratory (EGL). The CEGL evaluates only Clarity Enhanced Diamonds. They are recognized as the “Supreme Court” of grading. They also supply a retail replacement appraisal that can be used for insurance purposes. The EGL is used by those in the jewelry trade and consumers to provide accurate, reliable identification and certification to validate their gemstone purchases. It is important to purchase your Clarity Enhanced Diamond with an evaluation from either of these two labs or from an independent licensed GIA Graduate Gemologist (GG).

Q. Will the enhancement process change the carat weight.
A. No

Q. Is the diamond's color affected?
A. No.

Q. Why buy a Hadar CE diamond?

Q. How long have clarity enhanced diamonds been available?

Q. Can I have a personal laser inscription I.D. on my CE diamond?
A. With the advent of this new technology, laser inscription is acceptable. Lasering will not effect the integrity of the stone. Price = $100 per ct.

Q. Will my CE diamond hold or increase in value?
A. They increase like all other gem quality diamonds.

Q. Can I wear my CE diamond like any other diamond?
A. Yes. You can wear a CE diamond just as you would a diamond that has not been enhanced.

Q. What happens if the CE diamond is exposed to sharp impact?
A. The state-of-the-art beauty, enhancement process is very durable. The effect will be the same as with a non enhanced diamond.

Q. Are there any guarantees?
A. All Hadar clarity and color enhanced diamonds have a lifetime guarantee. They hold their beauty forever. If the diamond's enhancement is ever effected by the inadvertent application of a jeweler's torch, or by any unforseen mishap, Hadar Diamond Company will re-enhance your diamond at no additional cost. Q. Will I receive an appraisal with my purchase?
A. Your purchase will be accompanied by an independent laboratory grading analysis. The report will include a “retail replacement” appraisal.

Q. What will my jeweler say?
A. Assuming a jeweler is knowledgeable and aware of the new state-of-the-art CE technology and enhancement processes, they will agree with everything you have read above.

Q. What is your return policy?
A. We offer a 7 day full refund policy (less shipping and insurance fees). The 7 days start from the day you sign for the package and postmarked 7 days later for the return. This may be extended upon written request and approval. Most people know immediately upon receiving the diamond that they made the right choice.
