HPHT diamonds are genuine, GIA certified, high clarity diamonds that have undergone a specialized processed called HPHT (high pressure high temperature). Only superior grade, Type 2 a, TLB and TTLB diamonds are candidates for HPHT. These diamonds must have clarity grades of FL-VVS2 (the highest clarities available).

Diamonds that belong to this category show very few internal blemishes, which in short, means they are high quality and rare. The HPHT process is applied to adjust its color, in many cases, from a champagne colored diamond to a permanent white or colorless diamond.

Many people choose HPHT diamonds because it allows them to own a GIA certified, flawless, colorless, and larger diamond for half the cost of a traditional diamond.
