How Are Lab-Grown Diamonds Created?
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. Chemically, optically, and physically identical to mined stones. The only difference? They're born in a laboratory — not pulled from the earth.
Each LGD begins with a seed: a sliver of natural diamond crystal. Advanced technology replicates conditions deep within the earth to grow a full diamond in 10–12 weeks — compared to billions of years underground to grow a gem-quality stone.
There is a common misconception that lab-grown diamonds are cubic zirconia. This is false. CZ will be yellow and degrade over time. Diamonds are far more durable, hold value better, and have higher thermal conductivity. Lab-grown diamonds don't have any caveats; They are real diamonds in every sense.

How Lab-Grown Diamonds Are Made
Science meets artistry. Every Hadar Diamond follows a meticulous four-stage journey from seed to stunning stone.
Seed Selection
Hand-picked slivers of high-quality natural diamond crystals serve as the foundation. Hadar uses the purest seeds available.
Diamond Growth
Seeds are heated to 900–1,200°C in a controlled chamber. Carbon gas deposits layer by layer using CVD or technology over 10–12 weeks.
Hand Cutting
Master artisans cut and polish each diamond to ideal proportions using the same equipment used for natural stones — maximizing brilliance and fire.
Certification
Every diamond is graded to internationally accepted standards and accompanied by an official grading report before it reaches you.
